Writing Your Comprehensive Grant

 DESCRIPTION

You will build a comprehensive grant proposal for general solicitation purposes (i.e., not in response to a specific request for proposal). We have created a video that highlight the grant writing process. The final grant proposal will include a written document and slide sets detailing:

• Proposal Summary 
• Organizational Introduction
• Needs Statement
• Project Goals
• Project Design
• Project Management and Evaluation
• Funding
• Project Budget

PROCESS

• Use this link  to schedule an appointment for the intake interview.
• You will meet with a member of our intake team to get information about your organization, program, goals, and impacts. This interview should take about 2-4 hours over two sessions. 
• To facilitate the process please answer the questions to the best of your ability prior to the interview. You can use the link to the forms associated with the topic to share the information with our team before the first meeting.
• At the conclusion of the interview, you will be asked to supply any additional information that will aid in the grant writing process.
• Our experts will use this information that you supplied to create a grant scope of the proposal to ensure that it aligns with your organization's strategic goals.
• Once you agree to the scope of the grant, we write the grant.
• We deliver your slide sets and a written grant proposal. 

The process takes approximately 30 days.

INTERVIEW

The interview will take approximately 2-4 hours scheduled over up to two sessions. If other meetings are necessary, they will be scheduled accordingly. The interview will cover the information needed to create the best grant proposal to get the funding that will make your organization successful. A list of the interview questions is HERE.

It is important to remember that you are not expected to have the answer to many of these questions. The more quickly we identify areas where there are gaps in information, the faster the GrindingGang team can work to fill those gaps.
